From one accountant to another.
You have heard the AI hype. Almost nobody tells you what it actually does for an accounting firm. Here is the plain version.
I am a qualified accountant who has worked in practice. So I am not guessing at what eats your week. I build the websites and automations I wish we had had, for firms across Manchester and the North West.
Three jobs that eat your week.
Not a list of buzzwords. These are the jobs practices actually lose hours to, and what we do about each one.
Chasing clients for records
The same email, three times, to the same client. Records arrive late, work stacks up behind them, and you end up being the nag instead of the adviser.
Onboarding and AML checks
A new client should be a good day. Instead it is ID checks, engagement letters, and chasing details before you can do a minute of real work.
Being invisible online
Word of mouth has carried you this far, but the firms winning new clients are the ones showing up when someone searches for an accountant, or asks ChatGPT for one.
We already build for this world.
Every project below is in the accountancy space. This is not a general agency guessing at your sector.
MA Accounting Services
A fast, professional site for a Bolton accountancy firm, built to bring in enquiries.
Aalpha Solutions
A clean site for a practice serving small businesses and sole traders.
Practix Control
Practice management software we built ourselves for UK accounting firms.
Straight about what is ready today.
Websites and SEO
Hand-built, fast, and made to convert. We can start on this straight away and usually have a practice site live in about a week. Search foundations are built in from day one, including being readable by AI tools like ChatGPT.
AI automation
We do not sell a boxed product. On the call we look at where your hours actually go, agree which jobs are worth automating first, and build around the tools you already use. You stay in control and approve anything that matters.
If you could hand one job to a machine tomorrow, what would it be?
Tell us that one job. We will reply with a straight answer on whether it can be automated, and what it would take. No pitch deck.
We only use your details to reply. See our privacy policy.
Or email hello@dawnstudio.co.uk. We reply the same day.
Questions accountants ask
Do you only work with accountants?
Accountancy practices are our specialism, because that is the world we come from and we understand how a practice actually runs. We do work with other businesses too, but if you are an accountant you will not have to explain what a filing deadline is or why AML matters.
What can you actually automate in an accountancy practice?
The repetitive admin around clients. Common examples are chasing clients for records with polite automatic reminders, smoothing out new client onboarding, sending deadline reminders, and moving information between your website, inbox and practice software. We scope the exact workflows with you on a call rather than selling a fixed product.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the size of your practice and what you need. We agree one fixed price with you after a free call, before any work starts, so there is no hourly billing and no surprises later.
I already have a website. Can you improve it rather than replace it?
Often yes. We start with a free review of what you already have. Sometimes the quickest win is fixing speed and search foundations on your current site. Sometimes a rebuild is genuinely cheaper than patching. We will tell you honestly which one applies.
How do you handle client confidentiality and data?
Carefully, because we know your professional obligations. Automations are built so you stay in control and approve anything that matters, nothing sends without your say so unless you choose that, and we work with your existing tools rather than moving client data somewhere new.
How long does it take to get live?
Most practice websites go from first call to live in about a week. A larger build with SEO and automation usually lands within two to three weeks. You see a real preview before anything is finalised.
